OpenDA 2.2 Release Notes. January 2015 This is a release containing bug fixes and enhancements. For an overview of the changes in version 2.2, see Change-log-2.2.txt. For installation instructions and the user manual, visit www.openda.org or view the 'doc' folder. New Features: Several new models have been added: - model_mikeshe - model_glm - model_nemo - model_damflow Model wrapper for MikeSHE and OpenMI compliant models ----------------------------------------------------- There is a new wrapper added to OpenDA for data assimilation experiments with DHI’s MikeSHE model. The wrapper can be found in model_mikeshe. The interaction with OpenDA and Mike She is implemented using the OpenMI interface. The wrapper code is very generic and other OpenMI compliment models can be linked to OpenDA with a minimum effort. The wrapper code is described in detail in: M.E. Ridler, N.v. Velzen, I.Sandholt, A.K. Falk, A.Heemink, H.Madsen, Data assimilation framework: Linking an open data assimilation library (openda) to a widely adopted model interface (openmi), Environmental Modelling & Software 57 (2014) 76–89. ----------------------------------------------------- Known issues: ------------- The Delft3D wrapper is being revised. It is advised to use the existing Delft3D wrapper in combination with OpenDA 2.1.
